When compared to 2205 grade duplex steel, 904L has same as resistant to corrosion features but lower mechanical strength. 2205 is also a low-priced option compared to 904L but is not suitable for temperatures over 300 degrees C. The Super Duplex Pipes & Tubes have a melting point of up to 1350 degrees C and elongation of 15 per cent min. These pipes & tubes have a tensile strength of 800 MPa and yield strength of 550 MPa.
