API 5L CS seamless pipes have normal weight and extra heavy threaded line tubing; and standard plain end weight, regular plain end weight, special plain-end, extra-strong plain-end, special plain-end, extra-strong plain-end pipe; as well as bell and spigot and pipe through-the-flow line(TFL). We make the API seamless pipes in various grades, which are, grade B, grade X46, Grade X52, Grade X60, X65, and more. The two-digit number followed by “X” denotes the minimum yield strength of pipes produced of these grades. This grade aims to provide specifications for pipes suitable for use in both the oil and gas industries in the transportation of gas, water, and oil.

PSL 1 is a normal line pipe density where added chemical, mechanical properties, and testing specifications are found in PSL2.
