SS Tubes offer corrosion resistance in polluted marine atmospheres and has greater intergranular corrosion resistance in the as-welded condition. In the annealed state, Stainless Steel Pipes are non-magnetic, but as a result of cold working or welding, they can become mildly magnetic and have superior toughness and strength at cryogenic temperatures. SS Pipes also provide higher creep, stress-to-rupture and tensile strength at elevated temperature.
